Our Staff

 Dr. Otto Puempel opened the doors to his family practice in 1962.  After a short time in practice, he quickly realized there was a great need in the area of Bariatrics (weight management).  Since that time his practice has grown and become well known in the area for helping thousands of men and women achieve their healthy weight goals.

Dr. Puempel and Dr. Kirlin have each been practicing medicine in the Metroplex for over 35 years.  With extensive knowledge and success helping patients with weight management, they have now limited their practice exclusively to Bariatrics. 

After completing medical school, Dr Puempel's son, Christopher L. Puempel, joined the practice adding extensive expertise in Exercise Physiology.

Dr. Dale Allen, an orthopedic physician, retired from private practice in the Arlington/Grand Prairie area the first of this year.  He joined our team of physicians in May, 2007.
